Earthen-toned glaze covers the fissured surface of this unusual small vase by Sugitani Keizo enclosed in the original signed wooden box. It is roughly 6 inches (15.5 cm) diameter and in excellent condition, directly from the artist this summer.

Almost square hand-made embroidery. On a background of green satin silk two lion dogs, or foo dogs, are playing with a ball and each other between peonies and other flowers, next to a rock formation, a bat in the upper right corner. They are embroidered by hand with bright colors of silk in straight stiches and looped stiches, the lions detailed and outlined with gold-thread, which are twisted silk threads wrapped in thin gold foil.

This is a large, early and powerful Tibetan copper repousse head. The piece is adorned with a crown of five skulls surrounded by flames.There is some very minor damage to the figure's left ear, a split, visible in the photos. Cast pewter dropper in the shape of a doe. The animal is lying down, it is hollow and its mouth is pierced with a hole letting the water flow drop by drop. A leg is broken but is easily repairable, we can do this free of charge on request.
