$695.00 A beautifully rendered statue of Lu Xing, the Chinese God of Wealth and one of the 3 Star Gods. Richly painted in bright floral patterns and scrolling tendrils, it is in excellent condition. There are hole piercings in the ears and nose areas of Lu, and ear piercings in the child. C The sculpture measures 17" or 43.17 cm high and dates to the late Qing. Circa 1900. Marked on bottom.

In the photos, you can see the firing supports that are still intact, as well as the oxidation of the lead glaze, with the silver bleeding through to the surface, all of which lend to its authenticity. It is worth noting that there are several incised bands around the circumference of the jar. Measures approximately 17” (43.2 cm)tall and 10” diameter at widest.
