Superb Canton silk hand embroidered coverlet panel, circa late 1800-early 1900, featuring a turquoise background with an overall floral design, a centered peony, bordered with flowers in vases and bat motifs in vibrant shades of reds, greens and orange. Up for sale is a very large antique Chinese red silk wedding wall hanging / tapestry, embroidered with 2 large phoenixes, peonies, other birds, peaches, butterflies, and flowers executed in silk floss and gold wrapped threads. The tapestry is lined with red brocaded lining and 3.5" border along the edges. Overall is in excellent condition, no wear or fraying, no stains, vibrant colors ! Beautiful antique Chinese embroidered in silk a pair of Mandarin ducks surrounded by beautiful peonies, lotus flowers and other floral elements. Embroidered in beautiful tones of blue, green and gold. Displayed in wooden frame. Age: Size with frame: 18.125"H x 14.625"L

Deep blue Chinese cloisonne multi-tiered, 3 compartment box with gold gilt. The translucent enamels are rich and vibrant. This little treasure is in excellent condition, no chips, no repairs, etc. and measures 3.5" high (9.1 cm) x 3" diameter (7.6 cm).

An antique apple green enamel container. The box is square with small square feet embellished with blue glass. The faces of the box have a tree image with leaves.

Antique chinese enamel vase in a qourd shape. Early 20th century Republic period. Auspicious characters in red on white ground on each face. Hexagonal base. Flowers on the upper register. White and blue clouds on the vase. It measures 17" tall. Republic period, early 20th century. Previously a lamp.

This old Chinese Ethnic Minority inro is carved from animal horn and has 2 compartments. Each side is carved with a floral motif that is bordered with a key design. These symbols are especially meaningful to the Miao ethnic culture. The inro was worn suspended from the belt by a braided cord. It is a attractive ethnographic relic for the tribal arts collector. Condition is very good and the piece measures approximately 3.5" X 2

Originally, this was the largest of a set of 3 graduated matching silver necklaces. They were worn as a set for festival by the Miao Chinese Ethnic Minority women. The necklace was skillfully hand-formed from a sheet of silver into a curving tapered tube with a reposse pattern of 2 dragons chasing pearl. It spans 10.5 inches across.
