A Very Fine/Rare Korean 6 Faceted Iron Brown Painted/Chrysanthemum/ Bamboo Bottle-19th C.: Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century. The six high relief ribbed body set to a raised ring foot with short neck with cup mouth lip, Decorated in iron brown with a large chrysanthemum and bamboo on the body from Beneath blue tinged clear white glaze overall. It’s in very good condition, it measures 23.5cm h. x 14.2cm d.

Late 6th Century Northern Qi Dynasty (550 - 577) buddha carved of limestone. The three dimensional standing form is mounted in a custom weighted base for display. Right arm creates negative space between the torso as well between each feet. Textile is comfortably hangs with pleaded folds fans out around lower body. Tightly culded hair neatly formed. A large Korean Buncheong (Pun-Chong) pottery bottle from the Joseon period (16th-17th century) covered in a creamy white glaze decorated on the flat sides with exaggerated floral scrolls on a dark ground; carved ringlets filled with dark slip on the sides. This type of Diety had it's influence from the Gandhara also was a jewel of Buddhist civilization. A very rare, noble and artful Hirado Chawan with traces of playful glaze surrounding the bowl like icing. It dates from the Meiji Period (1868-1912) and is in great antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
