SOLD Burmese large sterling silver bowl, its sides highly ornate with scenes of Burmese people in daily activities , shields with fleur de lys, a band of flowers and vines along the mid rim, and many others.
Provenance: From the estate of E.C.S. George, Burmese counsel member from 1895-1910 Size: 8" W x 5" H The size of Screen: 24” Long x 24 1/8” High(center) x 3/4” Thick. Each panel is 7 1/8” wide. This is 4 panel screen done in black lacquer finish. The screen has violin and other ornaments design. The screen is hand-painted on black lacquer with wooden body. Origin of screen unknown, but I believe form Japan. The age of screen is about 40-50 years old. The condition of screen excellent. There is no crack. The screen kept very good condition.
