Incredible Japanese highly bronze figure of three playful puppies. One falling onto his back, another laying in the middle and the last one climbing over him. They are all very finely detailed. The artist's signature on the bottom of the middle puppy. Very well done with exquisite detail.

Incredibly charming Japanese bronze incenser in the form of a floppy eared dog, with a curly tail and and a real bell handing off of his neck. Chinese Famille Jaune Porcelain shape Jar, 8" high, 8 1/4" wide-widest middle section, 3 1/2" diameter-top rim, 6 1/2" diameter-bottom, Ca. 1920, with overglaze decoration of Chinese Happiness Characters with two(2) bats inside four(4) round Cartouches surrounded by sprays of pink Peony flowers. Chinese Export wax seal is placed on the bottom, some glaze crazing inside the jar, and minor wears caused by many years of usage in the kitchen.

Little distorted half cylinder shaped (kutsugata) tea bowl with flaring mouth made of light, coarse unrefined Mino clay. The expertly thrown body was covered with the typical green copper oxide glaze inside and outside. A 'window' on the side has been left unglazed and is decorated with fern sprouts. This is a typical late Momoyama design, which seems to represent winter and summer. You can find a black Oribe bowl with a similar design in the Nezu Museum.
