A Fabulous bowl by Living National Treasure Shimizu Uichi enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Seiji Deisai Chawan. This is a wonderful Ando signed Gonda cloisonne vase. The vase is combination very complex wireless and silver wire work, with a hint of moriage enamel. The lower flowering lily pad is moriage. The vase stands 12 1/4 inches tall and is in excellent condition.

This is a beautiful cloisonne bowl, not signed but likely from Ando. The condition is excellent. The workmanship is better quality than most and the Koi are even better in person. Rims appear to be bronze. The bowl measures 6 inches across and is 4 inches tall.

An antique Japanese Kotansu (document chest) made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware including the unusual side carrying handles which when swiveled up, allowed a wooden pole through it allowing two persons to transport it. Straight dovetail joinery and hardened wooden nail construction.

An antique Japanese Choba Tansu (merchant chest) made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware including the Warabite handles and full moon lock plates. With eight exterior drawers, a pair of sliding doors with split level shelf behind and a hinged security door that hides two additional drawers.

Typically used by a store front merchant who showed pride of ownership by showcasing this Tansu in a prominent area of the store for all customers to see.

Pair of teak wood carvings from an abbot’s chair in a Lanna Thai Buddhist Temple. 50 years old or more, possibly late Rattanakosin period. An antique Japanese Kyodai (mirror stand) made of beautiful Toneriko (Ash) wood. Articulated swivel mirror opens to a compartment of drawers, shelves and a removable tray where make-up and beauty supplies were stored. Hand mirror slides into its holding slot along the side wall. Original bronze hardware. Side carrying handles were hand carved to depict seashells. Mirror has wear to silver.
