With gold painted lines simulating veins. The lines outside in low relief. The celadon glaze has a nice colour. There are 5 spur marks to the base. In the collection of the British Museum there is a cup of similar form ( it´s base as well with 5 spur marks ) that is dated to the Kangxi period, Jingdezhen ware. ( Museum Number : PDF, A. 516 ) Diameter : 7,8 cm. H : 4,5 cm. Condition : Perfect.

Ivy in colored maki-e lacquer drapes over the ro-iro polished black of this museum quality Tankei oil lantern dating from the 19th century complete with oil container, with both ceramic and lacquered-brass oil dishes; enclosed in the original wooden storage box. It is 22 x 18 x 54 cm (8-1/2 x 7 x 21 inches) and is in overall fine condition, with minor wear typical of age and use.

Early 20th century Chinese cloisonne vase with a compressed ovoid shaped body and a lotus bulb mouth. A stunning mounted two-tone bronze dragon wraps around vase. The vase features a scrolling lotus design on a rust colored ground. Hole remains in base where it was mounted as a lamp. In excellent condition, the vase measures 11 inches high. On base 12" high. Dates circa 1930.

A beautiful large matching pair of Ming attendants. It is unusual and rare to find a matching pair of a male and female attendants with a beautiful matching three color glaze. The expressions are very real and natural. A Chinese lady's belt made of 16 mother of pearl discs each mounted with alternate appliques of butterfly and auspicious Chinese characters. One of the two end gilt silver clasps which are decorated with enamel characters is stamped "90" followed by characters.
