sold than you It is Japanese antique Tsutsugaki yogi cotton kimono textile dyed with natural indigo Edo Period (1830-1867).
The big Uchiwa (japanese washi fan) and family crest are very impressive. A Cotton is a thick hand-spun item and wonderful hand-spun cotton with a warm feel.
There are indigo fading in several places. There are repair marks in several places, but overall the condition is good.
It is the largest size among Tsutsugaki textile items.

This is Tsutsugaki Noren dyed with natural indigo used in merchant houses in the Shonai region during the Edo period.It is drawn with a very bold and beautiful composition.In the past, cherry blossoms represent "richness" for wishing for a good harvest, and "prosperity" because many flowers bloom all at once.

sold This piece was made at the kiln in Henan pottery area. It is very popular to be called as "Henan tenmoku" which has black glaze with patterns of rusty glaze. The pattern tends to peel off because of overglaze, however this piece has patten clearly remained.
