SOLD Original Japanese print by well known artist Mayumi Oda (1941-present), titled "Let Wisdom Arise Within Us" (Blue) , number 23/100, and signed in pencil along the bottom. Wonderful depiction of a goddess wielding a sword while riding on the back of a growling fu lion, surrounded by large bouquets of peonies, the flower petals blown around her by mystic winds.

Rivulets of vitrified green, grey, and yellow ash stand against a background gradient of soft to intense ochres of the clay body. This is a Qing Dinasty, Flattened, Rectangular form tapering towards base snuff bottle, with rounded shoulders, rounded straight neck, and raised rounded rectangular footing. It is mostly of brick red color with some subdue light brown streaks. A light sheen on its surface enhances its natural Cher stone color. It comes with a metal base light brown jadeite stopper.

These faceted arrowheads are identical to the Neolithic arrowheads on page 31 of the catalog, the 29th United Association of the University Museums of Korea Exhibition - Korea's Bow and Arrow, The Military Academy Museum.
