A fine 18th century Chinese molded celadon-glazed porcelain dish, finely decorated around the center with stylized archaistic dragons encircling a central roundel of a lotus flower, a band of key-fret pattern around the foliated rim, covered overall in green glazed. DATE : Qianlong (1736 - 1795). SIZE : D = 24 cm. CONDITION : perfect condition, no chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs.

A fairly large gold repousse Buddha wearing a cape and standing on lotus pedestal. Repousse is a metalworking technique in which a malleable metal is ornamented or shaped by hammering from the reverse side to create a design in low relief. Size: H 11cm. W. 6cm. Condition: No repairs. Some openings which are natural for old repousse items. Nice patina.

The rare Gold Buddha is know as Bhumisparsa, the mudra of witness (earth touching). The hand with the palm turned inward and all the fingers extended downward touching the singhasana (pedestal supported by a lion) The gesture of touching the earth or calling the earth to witness commemorating Buddha's victory over temptation by the demon Mara. A Cambodian cast bronze statuette representing the Hindu god Vishnu standing with his 4 arms. The bronze has an excellent old patina which confirms the dating. Khmer art 12th century or before. A wooden plinth was made around 1900 to stabilize the statue. Height without wood base: 117mm (4.6 inches)

Indo Portuguese work, made in the 18th to early 19th century. Very well carved, note the eleborate dress. Remains of gilding. H. 22,5 cm. Condition: A part of the stand has been professionally restored (see picture) as well as the pinky fingers of the Virgin.
