A Padang Highlands gilt brass kettle with false lid and a lidded box standing on three legs, both cast with the lost wax method showing floral and geometric motifs. Condition: both lids with few tiny casting holes, the box interior with some rust, both items with traces of usage. Dimension: kettle: c. 21.5 cm high, c. 15 cm long, box: c. 13.8 cm high, diameter: c. 13 cm, weight together: 1400 g.

An antique 11th century Mon Buddha, mounted to a custom made wooden base.

The figure is is stood samabhanga and is remarkable for its realistic yet delicate delineation of the limbs and the robe which seems to cling to the body.

The garment (sanghati) covers both shoulders. The right hand is held out in the vitarka mudra of teaching. The lowered left hand grants boons in the varada mudra...

Antique Nepalese bronze bodhisatva seated on a double lotus throne. The piece has the original copper base with stamped design. The robes of the figure are skillfully incised with a beautiful cloud and scrolling vine design. The hands are in muddra as they hold a small container. Some old loses. It measures 8" tall 5 " wide 3" deep. 19th century, obtained in the 1960s in Katmandu .
