$125.00 The bone of this hair pin has carved series of circles and a very delicate cross hatch pattern. The top is decorated with strands animal hair. The hair pin is 7.5 inches long. This hair ornament is Naga, which is an indigenous tribal culture in the hills of the north east region of India.
An extraordinary photo frame made of steel and decorated with scrolling leaf in silver koftgari work, the surface covered with gilt lacquer. The back embellished with geometric pattern. Condition: decoration with little wear and partial loss of lacquer, two clamps missing. Dimension: 24.5 cm, 15.5 cm wide, weight: 466 g.

Sold. Tibetan butterfly-shaped woolen under-saddle rug "Makden", made in two pieces in knotted pile. Backed with purple cotton, edged with red wool fabric and having two not pierced strap holes. Attractive folk art Buddha with most of it's original painting intact. Made in Sri Lanka in the 19th or early 20th century. H. 55 cm. Condition: some age cracks, some wear to the painting, traces of light repainting (face seems to be touched up a bit), one finger repaired. Overall in a very good condition.

SOLD Tibetan bronze gilt statue of Kubera, known as the "Lord of Wealth and the North". He originates from Hindu mythology but is also recognized in Buddhism and Jainism. He holds a mongoose as a symbol of his victory over the Nagas, snakelike deities and guardians over treasures. He sits upon the back of a lionlike creature and has an arch of flames with gilt tips behind him. The jewels on his crown and around his neck are dotted with blue and red enamel.
