It is made of fine natural stone and has a nice patina. This mounted statue is part of the Van Norten Collection since 60 years and has been exhibited in our private house since then. Wonderful, age related condition.

An antique Chinese jade bowl decorated with motifs of flora, dragons, and on the exterior is depicting a battle scene with mounted horses and foot soldiers. The bottom of the bowl contains a inset with the mark Qianlong nian xing. Age: 18th-19th century Size: diameter: 6.5" height: 2.2"

A mounted painting of a bird perched on a branch with a signature and seal signed Zhao Shaoang (1905-1998). Zhao Shaoang was known for his contemporary and bold styles specializing in bird and flower images. The strokes used for the plants reminisce strokes seen in calligraphy. Age: 20th century. A refined Chinese framed landscape painting showing a view during the evening. The tradition began during the Song Dynasty with literati landscapes. In the succeeding centuries, different artists produced these landscapes echoing poems by Li Bai or Guqin tunes. The landscape painting was done by an artist named, Tzuyue. A small round cloisonne box featuring a flower arrangement against a background of intricate key fret design. Gold gilt still intact. In excellent condition, it measures 2.25" diameter x .75" high. Early 20th Century

Beautiful Chinese small silk purse, salmon colored silk sewn into intricate raised pattern with metallic thread, silk lining on inside, sewn onto each side is a beautiful carved white jade butterfly 2 3/4" wide. The purse cord is braided metallic thread with three carved linked white jade rings on end. Republic Period (although jade is probably older). Purse is 5 1/2" wide.

Chinese desk with matching chair made of rosewood. The desk has five drawers with brass rectangular pulls. The chair is adorned with small flowers in the upper corners of the back. The desk measures 22" deep 46" wide 31" tall. 20th century.

An intricately hand carved Chinese rosewood or similar hardwood lid for a ginger jar. There is a small insurance number written on the inside of the lid, see last photo. In excellent condition, it measures approximately 2.25"(5.7 cm) diameter, 1.75" (4.4 cm) interior diameter, and 1" (2.54 cm) high. Dates 1800's

Antique Chinese stone seal. The stone is variegated in color with black, grey, white, and pink colors thorughout. It has a small snail carved on it. There is a small inscription at the bottom, old red pigment from when it was used. It measures 2"5/8" tall 1" deep1.5" wide.

Antique Chinese stone seal, the top carved with a phoenix and a dragon flying around a central octagonal medallion. The overall seal is in the shape of an octagon. It measures 2" in diameter, 1" tall.

Antique pair of Chinese porcelain bowls, beautifully painted with three bats in yellow, red and blue, in the center of each bowl is a red longevity symbol, around the inside rim of each bowl is three more red longevity symbols and branches with peaches, the outside of each bowl is decorated with flowers, each is signed in red on the bottom with a six character mark early 19th century. Size of each: 5 5/8" wide diameter.

Chinese posrcelain tea bowls with saucers and lids. The cups and lids are beautifully painted with phoenixes and dragons flying through clouds. The saucer is painted with pink, blue and yelow clouds. The cups are signed Chein Lung on the base, date from republic period. They measure 4.5" wide 3.5" tall with saucer and lid.

Chinese porcelain dish with garden scene. Three figures sit around a table eating fruit while a fourth figure stands, gazing at something. The party is seated under hanging lamps. The border of the bowl is intricately decorated with chrysanthemums, peonies, and other flowers. The back of the dish has a red stamp and three bands of flowers. It measures 13" diameter. Republic period mid 20th century.

Antique Chinese Huanghuali two shelf stand. The shelves are tiered, the wood is beautiful huanghuali wood. Dates from the early 20th century. It measures, lower shelf: 17" X 13.5" x 27" upper shelf 13.5"x 13.5"x 37" overall: 29" wide 13.5" deep 37" tall.
