This rare, delicate red ground gold threads kesi cover is decorated with a 5 claws dragon surround by sea waves, clouds, auspicious symbols and pair of bats. $3,500.00 Beautiful Chinese antique vase, 18th century (Kangxi Period, 1662-1722). It is sculpted in double gourd shape and painted with various scholar scenes and glazed in white and blue. Continuous scenes depicting figures in a landscape are a common motif in Transitional porcelain, they often referenced popular plays, histories or poems. Very fine Kangxi mark on the bottom. PROVENANCE A Private German Collection, acquired in the 1930's in Japan... Chinese canton enamel box with slightly domed lid. The sides and top finely painted with scholars in landscape setting in famille rose palette. Interior with turquoise enamel. Condition: good - considering the delicate nature of enamel, rim of box with two very small retouchings and and sides of lid with three tiny enamel losses and few stress lines. Dimension: diameter: 10.2 cm, 6 cm high.

Already Sold Wonderful 46 cm and 8,16 kg heavy Chinese bronze Guanyin Buddha from our Buddha collection, made in the 18th century. The Guanyin (Kwan Yin) is wearing a long robe and is sitting with two hands hidden in the clothes, holding a reel. Very smooth and kind expression. Although the statue is hollow inside it is very heavy. On her back marked the period of "Qian Long". A really very rare bronze collection, can't find from other places...

$4,500.00 Antique Chinese bronze censer with oval form body, high neck and rounded rectangular mouth. Standing on four feet with heads of mythical creatures. A band with a swirling motif in low relief encircles the middle of the censer. The neck of the censer is also decorated with a wave motif in a band of low relief. The lid is pierced for incense smoke and topped with a sitting Qilin.
17th Century, Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) Dimensions: 8" high x 5 1/2" wide x 4" wide Chinese 17th Century Dehua / Blanc de Chine Porcelain Lion-Mask Censer
This censer was made in the 17th century (c. 1650 - 1700) at the famous Dehua kilns in Fujian province. It is "heavily-potted", the outer surface and inner mouth coated in an ivory-coloured glaze. The inner surface and base remain unglazed. Diameter 15 cm. There are a couple of firing fissures to the thickly-cut foot, no doubt caused during firing due to the thickness of the clay... Chinese Qing dynasty 17th - 18th century bronze censer with "QIn Shu Jia Ban" mark. 20 cm wide. 14 cm mouth rim diameter. 8,3 cm high.2114 gram weight. Good condition. Free from any repair and crack. You can see scratch and minor dent because wearing age.

SOLD Antique pair of small bronze seated Qilin. Cast with heads facing upward and mouths open. Details of scales and striated tails. Each has a single horn. As scholar objects, it is possible that these were once used as scroll weights. Each Qilin stands on an antique carved hardwood stand.
