Tall Chinese Yuan Dynasty Cizhou Stoneware Jar / Bottle
This attractively-shaped stoneware jar, or bottle, was made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) at one of the kilns in the north of China specialising in Cizhou wares. It is "heavily-potted" and has four loop handles around the shoulder. SOLD Large antique Chinese cabinet in two stacking sections, made of a beautiful honey color hardwood, cabinet doors on front are lacquered black and have stone inlaid scenes of children playing, the sides have lacquer scenes of mountains. The interior of the bottom section has a shelf with two small drawers. Republic Period.

$4,800.00 A Changsha bowl was painted in the cavetto with motif of bird and water weeds. Maneuvered by deft brush strokes, the picture was vividly rendered with simple lines. The bowl was heavily potted and was revealed with rough-feel body clay underside. The characteristic disk-like foot ring was well shaped. It was applied with white lining paint before dipping into to the brownish pigment and commencing the picture.Tang Dynasty (9th Century).

Good dark soy brown glazed ovoid jar Tang Dynasty from a northern kiln, nice size- H: 12.5cm/5in and D: 16.5cm6.5in. Some kiln flaws i.e., bubble pops and minor chip on side- please examine enlargements.
Very rare pottery bowl and eclectic with Taoist imagery. This is made from a high fired light gray pottery, with traces of a white slip and depictions of musicians, dancers and “demon” masks. This is a funerary piece; the symbology suggests the transition from this world to the afterlife. D: 14cm/5.5in and H: 5.2cm/2in. No cracks original pigments with some kiln warpage
