Sold on Layaway Eight petal Chinese Tang dynasty (618-907) foliate form bronze mirror with central pierced knob and four relief characters reading “long life, riches, and honor” (chang ming fu gui). 7 1/4” diameter. Good condition overall with typical wear and extensive patina. From the estate of Gerhard Lohmeier, a Diplomat at the German Embassy in Beijing from 1985 to 1989.
Chinese late Tang dynasty to Five Dynasties period stoneware ewer with high shoulder tapering down to a slightly flared foot and flat base, the short neck ending in a slightly wider rolled mouth. A double-strand handle connects to the neck and shoulder, and a short straight spout is opposite the handle. The ewer is covered overall in a thin layer of white slip with a wavy ribbon or rope motif that ends well above the unglazed base. 7 1/2" high...
Long Chinese Qing dynasty hardwood bench crafted with four panels on the back rest, a curved front apron, and comfortable armrests. 19th century. 74 3/4" long x 29" high (17 1/2" high to seat) x 23" deep (21 1/4" depth of seat). Very sturdy and in very good overall condition. There are some minor separations from our dry Arizona climate. There is a small wood loss and old filled crack at one side of the bottom apron. From an old Tempe, Arizona estate.

The shape is inspired by Greecian urns and the body surface is etched with detailed acanthus leaf scrolls... Chinese Northern Song (960-1127) dynasty qingbai (yingqing) porcelain glazed bowl with relatively straight sides and slightly flared rim decorated on the interior with combed abstract swirling floral patterns. The smooth, thin, crackled olive-green glaze pools in the center and accumulates at the exterior foot. The low foot is unglazed, revealing a gray-white body. 10th/11th century. 7” diameter x 2 3/8” high. Very good overall condition...

$175.00 Chinese stoneware jar with two loop handles, high neck with small, rolled rim, and flat bottom. The jar is amber glazed only at the upper shoulder with a few drips extending down onto the body. This vessel is likely an example of Guangdong ware produced in Fujian province. 7” diameter x 6 1/4" high. Probably dates from the Southern Song to Yuan (12th to 14th century). Very good overall condition. From the collection of a former American expatriate to Guangdong province in 1983-2984.

Carved from a single piece of wood, the recessed base is not a separate plug. Late 19th to early 20th century. 7 3/4” high x about 8” diameter at the base and 4” diameter at the outer edge of the top; interior of the brush holder: 3 3/4" deep x about 2 1/4" diameter; weighs 4 lb. 3 7/8 oz. (1.92 kilograms). Typical wear and minor cracks...

solded Set of 8 panels carved in a beautiful hardwood probably rosewood. They are very finely openworked with stylized dragons moving in scrolls. In the center a bone inlay. The cutouts as well as the details are very skilfully executed. Probably pieces of furniture.
Probably china but perhaps vietnam. The largest panel measures 215mm.
Bone inlays are missing.

Pair of vintage Chinese cloisonne brush pots decorated on the front with scholar's desk objects set against a blue background covered in cloud cloisons. On the back of each is a gourd and sprig of coral. A ruyi band encircles the top. The rims are copper and blue counter-enamel is in the interior and base. Each measures 9 1/8" high x 4" diameter. Purchased new in Taiwan in 1974 by the current Tucson, Arizona collector...
