Chinese Qing dynasty blue and white export porcelain deep punch bowl decorated around the exterior circumference in the traditional Canton or Nanking pattern with figures on bridges and in boats on a lake, willow trees, and traditional buildings in a landscape scene. Chinese Qing dynasty ornately carved rootwood fly-whisk handle. Fly-whisks were carried by Buddhist priests to wave away flies which, according to Buddhist tenets, they could not kill. Chinese late Qing dynasty rectangular form hinged cloisonne box with inner tray resting above an open compartment decorated on the exterior in cloud form cloisons with butterflies, flowers, and scrolling foliage emerging from rockery and set against a turquoise ground. Chinese Qing dynasty Daoguang period (1821-1850) geyao type porcelain censer of compressed bombe form with thick flat rim and two animal-mask handles at the sides. The pale gray glaze, covered overall with the characteristic black and brown crackles, completely covers the interior of the censer and the exterior of the ringed foot and extends part way down the interior foot of the recessed unglazed base. Measures 5” diameter from handle to handle and stands 2 ½” high...

Chinese Qing dynasty round form deep plate decorated in underglaze blue on a celadon-tinted white porcelain ground with a central stylized "shou” (long life) medallion encircled by ruyi lappets. Four rows of dense, stylized Sanskrit characters for the sacred “om” syllable extend around the circumference of the well. Four scholar’s objects decorate the exterior. The base cast with a sixteen-character inscription incorporating an apocryphal Xuande date, reading Da Ming Xuande wunian Jiandu Gongbu guanchen Wu Bangzuo zao (Made by Wu Bangzuo, supervisor of the Ministry of Works, in the 5th year of Xuande of the Great Ming). 16,5 cm diameter.2048 gram weight. Of slightly squat form, with metal handle and protective metal bands on the rim of the pot and the cover, and the end of the spout. The bottom with incised mark of the potter’s name.
