SOLD Adorable original Antique Chinese painting of cat playing in a scenic setting. Water Lillys and Frog are sprawled in water, with a dune behind cat, and flower. This painting is both peaceful and playful . Famous Beijing artist, Cao, Ke Jia painted the cat. Rest of painting was done by Wang, Rong. Painting is sold in a dark wood frame. Contains signature and two marks.

It is 15 inches (38.3 cm) tall by 10.2 inches (26 cm) wide. It is 6.1 Lb. It has dark spots, skip glaze, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos). A large Chinese snuff bottle, well hollowed, carved from a celadon jade pebble with brown sections. The front side showing a relief of a monkey at a vine. The stopper is made from turqoise glazed ceramic with bone spoon. Condition: few traces of usage. Dimension: total length: c. 9.3 cm, c. 5.5 cm wide, c. 3.2 cm deep.

SOLD A splendid Chinese celadon brush holder formed in the style of a scholar rock. The crackled glaze along with the celadon is a classical style that began during the Song dynasty and became popular among the ruling elite. A mark is found on the bottom of the pot reading, Jingxiu tang zhi which is the studio that made the piece. Age: 18th/19th century Size: Length 4" Width 3" Height 4.6"

Ming period 1425-1644, 7" high, 5 1/2" wide-widest part, nicely crackled and shows raised rings like turning wheel pattern on the entire body by the turning wheel by the artist. Glazed with Celadon color inside the heavy top rim area, and the bottom is unglazed. One side shows darker area caused by the firing with wood burning inside the Dragon kiln. The condition is good, no damages.
