The edge is painted with an imitation of copper. The base has four characters painted in blue on the base. The interior is white. It measures 4" diameter 1"7/8" tall. Circa 1900.

A beautiful Chinese silk rug (6' x 9'); the yellow field bearing a central medallion of a front-facing dragon with four side-facing dragons in each corner, all on a stylized linked flower head ground, the border with stylized lotus, peony and other flowers of good fortune.

This is an old hand woven carpet in great quality. The whitish areas shown in some photos are reflections of light on the silk. The five claws dragons are woven on a brown metal background (gilt copper)...

Hand carved and polished natural color stone, it has russet/orange skin in the areas carved with curling edges and the design is complete with an incised center area and fully worked underside showing stems, pods, leaves and flowers. The surface polish is first rate and this is a very desirable piece. Includes original fitted hardwood stand. Dates late Qing to early Republic. Brusher measures 3.75" x 3". A completely hand formed and detailed fresh water coup in the form of a highly stylized archaic duck. This sancai water pot dates late Qing, circa 1880, and is pattern after the porcelains of the Song dynasty. A great item for the collector of scholar items. Measures 3" long x 2.5" high at head.

There is a wax seal on a tag, threaded through the scroll. Seal says "Shen Shi " (named Nanpin). Attributed to Shen Quan (Shen Nanpin). It measures overall 19.75" wide by 76" tall, 16" by 52.5".
