A rare very well carved soapstone sculpture of Lui Hai in traditional pose ensnaring the three -legged toad with a string of cash. This item was made circa 1750 - 1800 during the reigns of either the Qianlong or the Jaiqing Emperors. The tip of one finger is missing and there is an old glued repair - most visible on the upper foot. Little of the original paintwork is now visible. Height - 7.5 inches (19cm)...

A bronze tripod censer with elephant form feet made during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor (1736-1795). There is no cover and the handles have been removed...

Pair of Chinese Export saucer plates, Yongzheng or early Qianlong period, first part of the 18th century. Scalloped rims and decoration in under-glaze blue of flowers and seascapes in panels. The back of both with a chocolate-brown, "Batavian" glaze. Diameter "4½/ 11,5 cm. Condition: firing crack and rim frits to one plate, the other with a minimal nick to foot rim.

An extremely rare pair of original 18th century elm wood lacquered folding chairs. All the parts are original including the original lacquer. Only replacements were the hardware in the folding joints as the originals had rusted out. The back panel has an open- work floral design with a cloud design on the upper and lower panels. A rare, large and beautifully carved scholar's item made of huanghuali and carved with flower vases and a censer as the center piece, with the original hardware.The outer frame could be huanghuali or huali. A white jade of two frolicking animals "kissing" muzzle-to-muzzle. The smaller animal has a little curly tail while the larger one has a long tail going up against its back with a curl at the tip.
