Condition: the base has been drilled for a lamp conversion; no further damages and no restoration.

Sold in our Liverpool shop - May 2019 / 利物浦店内售出 - 2019年5月 A rare thinly potted and extremely well painted deep dish with exceptionally fine porcelain body. The base carries the six character reign mark of the Jiajing emperor (1522-1566) enclosed within a double circle but this item was probably made later, in the 16th/17th Century, during the reign of the Wanli emperor (1573-1619). Condition: there is production glaze loss (fritting) to the rim but no cracks or damages and no restoration...
