A delicate and very fine ORIGINAL CHINESE QING DYNASTY PAINTING depicting a seated Guzheng Player in a garden while secretly being observed by two beautiful Maidens. Framed, with Chinese characters/text and Seal. Overall good condition. Size: 35 cm. x 32 cm. (~ 14" x 12.5" inches) framed.

A unusual rare black wooden lacquered plate with a three fish design and a little frog. Very unusual to find wooden plates from that period. Age: Ten Kingdoms, 907 - 979 AD Size: Radius: 17cm. Condition: Some dirt incrustation from long burial and small old chips around the rim and one little piece glued on the rim. Overall not bad for the age. See photos.

A six sided Nyonya plate with a peach and ten Buddhist symbols for good luck with the Tonzhi (1862-1864)stamp and of the period. Nyonya wares are over-glaze polychrome enamelled porcelains made in Jingdezhen in the Kiangsi province of China for the Straits Chinese, or Babas, whose female counterparts are called Nyonyas, hence the term Nyonya ware. Nonya wares were mainly reserved for festive occasions and special functions. Size: W. 18.6cm. H. 4.5cm...

Very unusual necklace made with nine (9) handmade metal bells. Each unique bell is separated by thin metal discus spacers. Size end to end: 60 cms or 23 inches. Age: 19th century or earlier.

Chinese white glazed Blanc de Chin Double Gourd Vase with incised 4 Ruyi with 3 flower petals inside each Ruyi design, 19th century, 5 1/2" high, 2 1/8" diameter-bottom rim, 1/2" diameter-top rim, 4" wide-widest middle section of the vase, unglazed bottom and sand got stuck around bottom rim during firing and also large sand firing mark on the side of the vase about 1/2" long, all the dots and dark area is kiln imperfect markings. Top has some tiny frits.

Lavishly inlaid with engraved mother of pearl. Dimensions: 30,5 x 18 x 11 cm. Exceptional good condition with almost all the inlay still intact, only some minor pieces missing. The wood has some age cracks and one of the long sides is a bit crooked. The brass corner pieces are all original.

A large, Museum Quality pottery figure of a male attendant carrying a bag over his shoulder. The figure dates to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.

The figure is placed on a large Lotus throne on top of high hexagonal plint, both in fine Sancai colours - a two-colour green and yellow glazed robe.

He wears a head dress. Finely hand painted facial details. Lotus thrones are very rare for Ming pottery figures...

Red pottery with a turquoise glaze, with moulded decoration of peonies. Apart from some chips to the mouth rim this censer is in a very good condition. H. 15 cm, diameter 12 cm. Width from handle to handle 18 cm. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

A well-carved ivory snuff bottle depicting two of the sixteen Buddhist Arhat. The bottle is undoubtedly carved in Japan as the neck is made from a separate piece of ivory and screws into the body of the bottle. The carving style suits the subject matter and the bottle has a pleasing patina from handling. There is an unidentified studio marking on the base.

Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period porcelain crocus vase with five lobes around a central cylindrical neck terminating in a bulb, decorated in the Hawthorn pattern with white branches of prunus blossoms set against a cobalt “cracked ice” ground.
