Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Dish (with Mark)

This impressive porcelain dish dates to c.1540 - 1620, from the late Jiajing reign to the Wanli reign. It has a foliated rim and is decorated in underglaze blue of good colour. The central decoration features a flower blossom surrounded by four be-ribboned Buddhistic lion-dogs. Surrounding the central roundel, around the cavetto, is a scrolling leaf scroll, with the flat upturned rim decorated with a wavy floral scroll...

A pottery jar glazed with a green lead glaze. Half of it is still green while the other half has oxidized to a silvery iridescent color. The variance in color is due to how the piece was buried and the effect of moisture getting under the surface of the glaze and "lifting" it to give it the pearl-like sheen. A crouching lion on the top, the stone weight was an original isolated piece as we can believe.
Most of the surface was calcified into grayish white tint.
It was an obvious characteristic for a stone piece what had been stored in a seal-up chamber, maybe under a temple.
The true color of the stone was revealed underside in darken tint...

Chinese Export Cafe au Lait Porcelain Tea pot, made later part of Qianlong period 1736-1796, 5" high with knob, 7 1/2" wide with spout and handle included. Iron red and black overglaze decoration of flowering branches highlighted in gold inside the leaf shape open cartouches on both sides and another smaller cartouches under the handle. Only two(2) small very shallow old frits, the size of 1/8" inside the unglazed area of the top rim.
