A Chinese silver gilt box set with two fine jade rings and decorated with semi precious stones and enamel details. The jades are of very pale hue and translucent whilst the gilt is in very good condition. Stamped " silver" to the base. Age: late Qing to early Republican period. Size: ten cm. high X 8 cm diameter. condition: very good, no restoration, no breaks.

A finely carved boxwood image of a standing Luohan (Arhat), one of Buddha’s disciples. The figure is shown turned slight to one side while holding a wish-fulfilling scepter (ruyi) in the crook of his right arm. The carving is coated in a deep, transparent reddish lacquer. Qing, 18th cent. H 18.5 cm. With fitted, old Japanese storage box. Condition: Excellent with only one minor age crack caused by the drying wood.

Small cast bronze vase. Creature mask decoration in relief, probably a tiger. The metal is very thick and this small vase is very heavy. Although very simple, it is venerable and powerful. It is very old for several centuries. The patina of the bronze is sublime. Certainly a Chinese work. I don't think it's from the Ming period, the drawing is too simple. It could be Song or before... Only a specialist could determine a precise dating...

A Chinese Fujian Lead-Glazed Censer. Circa, 13th-14th Century, Cizao Kilns, Late Southern Song-Yuan Dynasty. Found in the Philippines. The Cizao kilns produced green-glazed wares, brown wares, and black wares. Cizao wares come in green, ochre, and yellow lead glazes with coarse clay bodies. An authentic ancient Chinese Nephrite Bi disc made from five matching segments. The stone is a pale to mid-green with some darker inclusions and area of white (alteration of the stone). The piece measures some 4-1/2" (11cm) in diameter. This piece is ancient and is guaranteed to be ancient to the original purchaser.

This piece was made at the Zhangzhou kilns(漳州窯), and had been stored by Japanese famous collector. This type of multiple colored ceramics is called "Gosu Aka-e 呉須赤絵" and has been valued by Japanese people since Edo period until nowadays. A beautifully preserved Han dynasty amber glazed lidded hu jar (221B.C.-206A.D) with the original kiln supports fully intact, located on the foot. The jar is free from any hairlines or repairs. The glaze is nearly and entirely intact, just slightly grazed in spots. It is extremely rare to find an amber glaze jar from the Han dynasty. It is even rarer to find one with its intact lid that is free from repairs...

A rare and splendid genuine Ming Dynasty Tomb Pottery Horse bending it's head down with a seated musician playing the cymbals. This is one of the earliest Ming pieces, ca. 1400 A.D., depicting a beautiful and elegant horse with fine modeling. The horse's neck is arched and it's mane and tail are glazed in a rare and vibrant turquoise color. Antique Chinese porcelain snuff bottle in a glazed goldenrod yellow, with black painting of two birds perching on a branch sprouting cherry blossoms, diamond and wan symbols around the opening of the bottle, and a pink topper made of turmaline. The wan symbol is used in Asian religions such as Buddhism or Hinduism as a symbol of peace and enlightenment. 19th century Size: 3" tall, 1" wide

Chinese antique large planter, round form and standing on three stout legs, around the center is a ring of applied carved porcelain butterflies with lion like heads and white glaze, around the rim is a ring of applied carved porcelain florets, the bottom has a hole for drainage. Minor losses and cracks from firing process, there is also an impressed six character mark From Jingdezhen. 19th century. Size: 15" high x 18 1/4" wide.
