The robe is overall in very good condition, clean, very light stains in sleeves and minor tear in the right armpit. Measurements : Top collar to bottom hem 38.5", Sleeve to sleeve 57" stretch, sleeve width 20.5", width between arm pits 30" narrowest, width of hem 38" widest.

Wonderfully embroidered with forbidden stitch used extensively throughout on 8-5 clawed gold dragons, phoenixes, butterflies, bats, flowers, shi-shi lions playing with ribboned ball, and fans. Measures 53" X 37". Overall fair condition with some staining and wear throughout. Red silk ground with blue silk trim. Circa: 19th Century

Antique Chinese ladies shoes made of silk and embroidered with flowers and butterflies. These shoes were worn during the 19th century by someone who would have had their feet bound in the lily style. Qing Dynasty. 19th century.

Made by a woman of somewhat limited means, this pair of lotus shoes date to the late Qing Dynasty. The vamp has a contrast of lavender and purple cotton fabric. Each toe is decorated with a delicate floral embroidery. There is a round heal attached to the sole... The shoes measure 5 inches. They show a minimal amount of wear...

Made by a women of the Miao minority often referred to as the "tiny Miao" ...not because of their stature but because they were recongnize for their "tiny" embroidery stitches... This jacket was worn for festivals ...and shows some use...wonderful display piece and also could be worn by a small person....

Possibly from Yueli are of Nandan county, this antique Chinese ethnic minority Miao top could have been worn for every day It has hand batiked front and back panels and the front apron has hand embroidery accents on the batiked section. Pic 1 shows the back with the "apron"extention which extends to the top of the knees... Pic 2 show the front which ends at the waist... Fits a small woman and I mean small or could be used as a striking wall piece...

This Miao woman's jacket has hand embroiled detail collar, front lapel, and sleeve bands...background fabric of the body of the jacket feels like rayon but maybe silk...sleeves are heavy cotton... there is small hole 1/2 inch (looks like cigarette) on the back left side roughly 2-3 inches from hem... this jacket will fit a small woman... this style of woman's jacket is from the shidong area of Tia jiang...
