$1,800.00 Antique Chinese porcelain snuff bottle with cylindrical form, decorated with a scene of a water dragon in waves. Intricate and fine line details and expressive movement in the dragon and in the watery background. The dragon is painted in iron-red glaze and the waves in blue. The tall, white glazed neck is topped with a small jade lid. The long spoon is made of bone.

The artist would have started with a plain white base, painted his design with a mixture of finely ground cobalt oxide and water, and then used a transparent glaze all over. The bottle has a topper made of Jade. 19th century

STOLEN Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty blue and white porcelain snuff bottle featuring an elaborate hunting scene which includes animals such as wild boar, birds, deer, and a rabbit. Hunters are depicted on foot and riding horseback while shooting bows and arrows. In very good antique condition, no cracks, no hairlines. There are some minor abrasions or loss of glaze at around the rim which may have happened during firing. Height about 3 inches high.
A Chinese snuff bottle made of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue with the demon-queller Zhong Kui and a bat. The stopper is made from brown glass with a bone spoon. Condition: the stopper with a small chip, the porcelain with few tiny black spots, traces of usage. Dimension: c. 8.8 cm high.

This is a spectacular Famille Noire Glazed Molded Porcelain Snuff Bottle of Bulbous Pear form, with a green ruyi band decorated straight neck, a white glazed mouth, and a concave recessed oval footing. STOLEN A tapered porcelain snuff bottle featuring a darling scene of 5 Chinese boys at play in which one child can be seen pulling an animal pull toy. Decorated in famille rose enamels the bottle comes with its original cap and bone spoon. The cap is green jade, and red glass the color of red coral. There are two opposing chips on the red section. Cannot tell if that was in the manufacture or not. The snuff bottle is in excellent condition, no cracks, no hairlines, no chips...

**SOLD** Through our Liverpool Shop March 2020 A late 19th or early 20th Century porcelain snuff bottle, painted in shades of underglaze blue and pale olive green, depicting a lady and three boys in an interior or enclosed garden setting. The green hardstone stopper is probably jade and the spatula is finely carved ivory.
Condition: there are many small burst production glaze bubbles: no chips or cracks and there has been no restoration.
