This incense burner is of exceptional quality. The chasing is precise, harmonious, and perfectly executed with the utmost care. The decoration is intricate, with a multitude of figures and details, all skillfully rendered. This is a beautiful creation by an excellent goldsmith. The front cartouche bears two Chinese characters that appear to be an auspicious wish; below, a four-character mark, possibly the workshop's signature...

Beautiful circa 600CE to 700CE Pyu coins. The larger coin has a srivatsa (temple), on one side and celestial symbol and rising sun, on the other- 1/2 unit sterling quality silver. This coin has been punctured and at one time had small silver loop soldered to it. The smaller one, also pierced, has a bhadrapitha – pedestal for a deity and srivatsa, and is from Sri Ksetra. ¼ unit D: 8mm. These are still in use amongst the hill tribes in the Golden Triangle as jewelry ornaments...
