A small 19th century Chinese porcelain joss holder in the form of a seated hound, covered in a mottled dark umber glaze revealing the white beneath in places and patches of light blue on each side. An unusual piece and may be one-of-a-kind, we are dating circa 1900 or a little earlier. On an integral rectangular bracket base, it measures 3.75 inches high, 2.75 long.

A monochrome porcelain Vietnamese bowl from the 14th-16th Century. The clear ivory glaze has an incised design of a flower with 2 lines above it. The exterior of the bowl has a carved lotus pattern that extends to the bowl's small footing. During the 14th century, a second stacking method for firing was introduced using a ring-shape separator. A beautiful antique Annamese Vietnamese jar with a clear ivory glaze. On the shoulder are 4 applied rosettes between 2 raised lines. Vertical lines extend from the rosettes to the unglazed base. The jar has a short neck and rolled rim. Some imperfections. Annamese refers to Vietnamese porcelain, since Annam was the name of the southernmost province of China after the Tang dynasty. The name is the Vietnamese form of the Chinese name "the Pacified South"...

A historical example from Hongzhi reign (1488-1506) in Ming Dynasty. The censer decorated with under glazed cobalt painting depicting two figural scenes: "Worship the Moon" and "Carrying a Qin to Visit Friends". This censer used to be the collection of National Museum of Philippines, There is another identical one in the collection of National Museum of China in Beijing. A very rare Chinese yellow glazed bell shape cup (鈴鐺杯) from 18th century, probably Kangxi period. Yellow color is an imperial color, to be used by royal family only. This cup is in perfect condition. Height: 2-3/4"; diameter: 3".

A famille rose enameled porcelain tea container, beautifully decorated with birds and flowers. There is a "Huacha Gongsi Chupin (product of Huacha Company)" mark on the bottom along with a "China" stamp. Huacha Co. was a famous tea exporter founded in 1916 in Shanghai by Mr. Tang Qiaoqing and his partners, Huacha Company's tea won a first class award in 1926 Philadelphia World Expo...
