A Very Fine Korean Inlaid Chrysanthemum Celadon Cup-12th C.: Korea, Koryo dynasty, 12th century. The elegant small blue and white slip inlaid celadon cup, deep hemispherical bowl set on short foot with inlaid 3 chrysanthemums on the exterior, all beneath a rich celadon glaze. It’s in very good condition, it measures 4.8cm h. x 7.8cm d.

Rare Korean stoneware vase from the Silla period, 5th or 6th century. Undulating decoration incised with a comb and pierced with typical triangles. The upper part is covered with an ash glass. A similar but smaller and unglazed model is housed at the Minneapolis Institute. Good condition. Height: 34cm

Here we have an example of a ceremonial tea bowl by a Korean potter Ji Sun Tak who dedicated his life to reviving ancient techniques of the past by excavating and documentation of a number of historic kiln sites on the Korean Peninsula...

"Bun-in" is the last kiln for Joseon court. And there, high quality and sophisticated works were made. The chamfered vase is very rare on late Joseon.
