Japanese shin hanga woodblock print by Toshi Yoshida (1911-1995) titled "Irozaki Morning" dated in the left margin Showa 36 (1961). The artists's black ink signature and red seal are at the lower right corner. The print is pencil-signed and titled in English in the lower margin. Paper size: nearly 11" x 15" (image: 9 9/16" x 13 3/16"). Never framed and in very good overall condition. The paper is slightly wavy.

Name used from 1842-1856. He retired in 1859. Print by Kuniyoshi Utagawa and dated 1852 (year of the Rat) or 1853 (year of the Ox). Framed print.

Image: 14 1/4" high x 9 3/8" wide Japanese chuban format shin hanga woodblock print by Takahashi Shotei, also known as Hiroaki (1871 - 1945) depicting two figures walking in the snow in the foreground, one holding a parasol walking toward a hut, the second crossing a bridge over a stream. A snow laden tree and torii gate are at the left. Titled "Snow at Ozawa; Torii Gate and a Cottage," the print was published by Watanabe prior to 1930. The title and artist's red Shotei seal are at the upper left...
