A pendant of combined pieces: a carved green jade seated figure on a cloud of swirling mist from which hangs three gourd-shaped green jade pieces. The chain is set with little shòu (longevity) symbols with bats and hung with more gourd-shaped jades. All pieces are mounted with silver and the clasp is stamped.

The butterfly is carved in a slightly celadon white jade, it is double-sided and was cut from an unusually very thick jade plate (9mm) which gives the jewel greater solidity. The butterfly is accompanied by pearls, 2 round and 5 parallelepiped (lol) and 4 rings. We think that the whole, connected by silk threads, must have composed a single jewel. The work carried out with the grinding wheel is precise...
