A very fine middle Ming dynasty Mingyao b/w bowl, decorated to exterior with flower medallions among clouds scroll below emblems motif reversed on cobalt-blue ground. Inside center with also reversed of ruyi white on blue, encircled by key fret pattern to rim. Condition is good with two slight long hairline, the cobalt blue tone is fine like indicated on the pictures. Seal mark to base, Ming dynasty Jiajing period. Diameter: 18.5cm

A similar band decorates the exterior. The base and foot rim are unglazed. 11” diameter x 2” high. 18th century. Very good overall condition.
