Chinese carving of immortals on a boat, made entirely of Zitan hardwood. The boat appears to be made of an ancient, gnarled tree sprouting flowers, with its canopy of leaves covering the passengers underneath. The 3 male immortal figures sit huddled closely around a lingzhi mushroom, which holds medicinal properties and is a symbol of longevity. One female immortal peers into the waters at the side of the boat with bottles of medicine at her side...

A rare pair of carved wooden figures made in China during the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). For comparison of costume and facial features we have photographed them alongside a Ming Dynasty Fahua glazed soldier. Old Chinese carved stone birdbath. Made in 2 pieces that fit together nicely, the bottom is a Buddhist lion. The bowl has vague dragon like carving around the exterior. No condition issues. As shown the bird bath measures 18.5" high. Bowl or bath measures 9.5" diameter or across. Interior measures 7" across.

A nicely carved very light pale celadon jade monkey on a bamboo swing that would make a nice pendant. This monkey is very life-like with a lot of character representing the year of the monkey. Size: H. 4cm. W. 3.2cm. Condition: Perfect.

Antique Chinese hardwood brush pot. Made of huanghuali wood (Dalbergia odorifera) of a cylindrical shape, the base with a slight protruding lip. The front of the brush pot is carved with a stylized bamboo forest; The opposite side carved with a calligraphy inscription and artist's chops. The original finish brings out the natural "ghost eye" woodgrain characteristic of huanghuali.

A rare Ironwood (Tieli) clapper with three beautiful pieces. The two inner clappers are tied together for sound.
