The groups of Yao minority live in in both China and Thailand. This necklace is of low grade silver which was typical of the Chinese jewelry around the late 1800's and early 1900's. The necklace is light weight and comfortable to wear.

H. 24,5 cm. Original painting, good condition. Han Dynasty (206 BC-221 AD). A very fine example of Han burial pottery.

A tower of geometric in silver and red by Kawano Eichi enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The pebble textured surface and straight lines of the side are juxtaposed by the irregular and angular patterns of silver, like the outline of stones leading to a temple cast in shadow across the sides. The vase is 13 inches (33.5 cm) tall, 4 inches (10 cm) square and in fine condition.

A translucent nephrite jade "bi" of a very light cream color (off-white). Both the front and reverse are beautifully carved with the same design of a variety of "curl" designs. Japanese woodblock print by the artist Amano Kazumi. The print depicts a lively scene of a banquet in the entertainment district with geishas and other performers. Tetsuya Noda, born 1940 in Kyushu. The art is a framed silkscreen mixed media work, part of the "Diary" series dated August 26th, 1985. The image and title is of his home town in Kayuwara. The edition is 11 of 15. The image size is 36 x 23 inches and 47.5 x 35.625 inches with frame. Excellent condition. Noda is part of the Sōsaku-hanga art movement and is considered a major 20th century Japanese artist.

An antique Japanese kuruma tansu coming from the Mikuni region. The tansu is fitted with iron fittings to retain the condition of the tansu and to protect the vulnerable areas of the chest.
