SOLD This is a pair of antique Chinese official hat chairs. Made of Chinese Elm wood, it was decorated with hand carved Linghi mushroom accents. The finish has traces of transparent Burgandy lacquer.
Age: Early 19th Century Dimensions Each: 24" Wide x 44 1/2" High x 22" Deep Ayutthaya period small gilded bronze Buddha on throne. Cast in two parts. H. 15 cm. Condition: expected age wear, very good patina, minor damage to the footrim of the throne.
Gilded bronze Buddha with great age wear and patina. H. 32 cm. Condition: on the right corner there is a loop where a small bronze disciple was placed. The loop on the left side is missing; this must have happened a long time ago as the remains are hardly visible. There is an old collection label on the back.
