Made in 2 sections, the upper portion has two sets of sliding doors with spacious storage while the bottom section has 9 drawers, a pair of sliding doors and a pair of hinged doors that provided storage and organizing of daily Japanese culinary tools, gadgets and utensils. Modern Japanese Ceramics
Sold, Thank you! A Tokkuri and two cups with applied gold floral designs on crimson by legendary female artist Ono Hakuko enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Kinrande Shuki. The Tokkuri is 14 cm (5-1/2 inches) tall, and all are in excellent condition.
From Aichi prefecture, Ono Hakuko was trained by her father initially in the ceramic arts. However she was most strongly influenced by the great experimentive artist Kato Hajime (1901-1968) and his work with gold. This affected her own style de... Diameter approximately 39 cm. There are some hairlines. There are some improvements at the rim. More pictures are available.

sold This handle is in cast bronze with 2 welded sides and gilded. The carving is of the best quality and the sculptur is powerful, announcing an excellent artist. It must have been part of a very large censer or vase in certainly imperial cloisonné enamel that is somewhere.Certainly Kienlong period or earlier.

Japanese mid-century sosaku hanga woodblock print depicting a horse in a stable by Kiyoshi Saito (1907-1997). Signed in black ink at the lower left and with the artist's red seal above. Unlimited edition dating circa 1960. Paper size: 11 1/2" x 17 1/8" (image: 10 1/8" x just over 15"). The print was never framed and is in very good overall condition and color with full margins. There is some waviness to the paper and a couple of the margin corners have creases.

Found in the MUSI RIVER, close to Palembang City, which was the Capital of the SRIVIJAYA KNGDOM and which had a vast trade network with China and Siam.
