An unusual dish of mokkogata “melon” form decorated with a central motif of Tojin, Chinese or possibly Korean or Manchu figures in a Temple landscape with Hexagonal panels depicting Chinese boys playing, “karako kigi-zu” set against a ground of tama, pearls, and fronds. A masterpiece of dark grey covered in thick brushstrokes of slip by Shigemori Yoko enclosed in a signed wooden box titled CUBE. Through the slip and into the surface has been scratched windows of lace and fishnet designs. Inside is rolling waves or fish scales. A deep bowl of textured clay covered in black glaze with an abstract of dribbled silver in the center by Shigemori Yoko enclosed in a signed wooden box titled Hai (Sake cup). It is 8.2 cm (3-1/4 inches) diameter and in excellent condition, enclosed in a wooden box annotated by her nephew.

A large Chinese Porcelain censor with blue monochrome exterior and white interior. There are three rounded bumps at the base that represent the three feet of a censor. The bowl measures about 5 1/2" high x 9 3/4" in diameter and dates to the Ching Dynasty. The condition is very good with some interior kiln flaw and glaze crawl. A Porcelain flambe Ox Blood water pot that was used by a Chinese Scholar during the late Ching Dynasty. This pot has streaks of black in the glaze and a crackle glaze in the interior and bottom. During the late 19th Century, glazes of this color could not be controlled in the kiln, and many pieces had to be broken from the kiln. Korean 19th Century Porcelain High-Footed Bowl in Box with Shifuku

This "heavily-potted" bowl with a high foot was made in 19th century, during the late Joseon (Choson) Dynasty (AD 1392 - 1910). It is coated all over in a pale grey glaze, that seems to have just the slightest hint of blue in places. Embedded in the glaze around the foot rim are many pieces of kiln grit.
