This is a very nice and very old Buddha statue from Lopburi depicted with royal attire such as crown, ear rings, belt , necklace and more. The Buddha is sitting in a position of calling the earth to witness.

This statue was originally found in a property of Lopburi civilian which was buried under earth about 24 inches deep. The overall condition of the statue is very good, just only a few spots of oxidation reaction. No repairs. This is very nice proof of Siam and Khmer art in 1...

An interesting Tanzaku Shaped slab of colorful clay mounted onto aluminum hanging hardware by Mihara Ken enclosed in a signed box (carboard) dating from 1996 titled Ritsu. It is 7 x 6 x 36 cm (3 x 2-1/2 x 14 inches) and is in fine condition. A Tanzaku is a pillar shaped paper card upon which is traditionally written poetry.
