Pair of Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period ginger jars with domed lids decorated in bright famille verte enamels with paradise flycatchers among peony flowers, rockery, and flowering plants set against a yellow ground. A stylized ruyi form band extends around the circumference of the top. 7 3/4" high x about 7 1/4" diameter. Circa 1900. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
