Unique double diamond Chinese Lacquer Box from the 18th C. The lid of the box has a gold painted mountain scene with two sages near a mountain stream. The crackling of the lacquer indicates the age of the box. The woven wicker inserts encased in a red painted frame on the 8 sides are in pristine condition. Small gold flowers are painted adjacent to the frames. The interior of the box is a large open space.

Porcelain vase in the shape of a gourd with Imari decor. The vase is mounted on a lathe. It is decorated in the Imari style in blue, red and gold with flowers on a background with stylized geometric cracks in cobalt blue inspired by frost. The base is without glassure. Antique hand carved wood Chinese picture frame with a hand tinted photo of the Double Ring Longevity Pavilion. Also known as Shuanghuan Pavilion, the pavilion was moved in 1977 to the Temple of Heaven, Beijing. This is a photo of the pavilion in its original location near The Forbidden City. Antique photo and frame are in excellent condition. Frame measures 9" x 13 inches.
