1930's Japanese Satsuma Earthenware Feet Box with Millefleur & Karako Signed Kawaguri 川栗

It is 3.8 inches (8.9 cm) tall by 3.6 inches (9.2 cm) wide. It is 0.9 Lb.

A thickly potted heavy dish profusely decorated in early 19th Century style with Famille Rose enamels. This item was made in China in the early 20th Century , possibly for the Malaysian market, during the Republic period (1912-1949). Condition - very good - there is wear to the gilding but no chips, cracks or restoration. 28.8cm (11.4inches) diameter; weight 1.2kg (2lbs11oz).

Cinnabar is getting very hard to find, this lovely specimen even has a reticulated translucent very pale celadon carved stone, done in a floral pattern. In excellent condition despite a few dings, the cinnabar is completely intact. It measures 6" X 3.5" x 1.75 inches high. Dated to about Circa 1920, this vintage Chinese treasure is sure to increase in value over time. Note: Any white spec in the photos are reflections from the camera.

A sprawl of chrysanthemum are delicately painted growing beneath the elegant curves of a Kanshi poem on this fine silk scroll by Kamisaka Sekka enclosed in the original signed wooden box. Pigment and ink on silk with silk border and black lacquered rollers. The scroll measures 11-1/2 x 73-1/2 inches (30 x 186 cm) and in fine condition. Early 20th Century Chinese Gilt Lacquered Wood Carved Pierced Temple Altar Box with Stand

It is 15.2 inches (38.5 cm) tall by 10.75 inches (27.3 cm) wide. It is 6.6 Lb.

It has been repaired where one corner has a small piece glued back. It also has small gaps, chips, cracks, surface wears and scratches, peeling of lacquer, and the bottom is glued to the stand (as seen in the photos).

Wrapped Bamboo handle is in good condition, bottom is dented and blackened over the years, and shows three(3) needle point size of holes on the bottom.
