Beautiful Chinese dark finished hardwood wardrobe from the 19th century. Huang huali wood. Brass hardware. The two drawers inside are fully functional with lock and key. Inset hinges. There are keys for the drawers and doors. Dimensions: 77.25" tall X 49" wide X 21 3/8" deep.

An insert table screen with carved wood lattice work. The round porcelain plaque with depiction of three immortals in a landscape painted in underglaze blue. The reverse is bearing a six character "Daoguang" seal mark. Maybe the plaque was once a dish and reduced. Condition: lattice work with few missing pieces and little glue residue. Dimension: plaque: diameter: c. 16.5 cm, screen: total height: 45.5 cm, 34.5 cm wide.

An unusual Japanese keyaki tansu/ Toranku with a deep original red lacquer finish. This sturdy trunk has a top locking lid opening to an upper storage compartment. Flat top allows items to be placed on the top aswell. The bottom of the trunk has a large single drawer with interesting diamond style decorative hardware, and flower shaped handle mounts. 17th Century Tibetan storage chest with two large front doors. Hand painted with spiraling lotus designs over green background. The interior is roomy with a single shelf. Very heavy in weight. Beautifully naturally worn original finish. Size: 34" height, 40.75" width, 19.5" depth

A charming Chinese antique wicker suitcase. The top locks with three iron flaps. There are interesting remnants of an old wax seal. Interior is lined in orange and yellow paper with diamond patterns. Size: 9" height, 28" length, 15.5" width

Tall Chinese lacquer cabinet with red sides and black front, hand painted with an assortment of gilt butterflies and flowers. Antique Japanese small choba tansu (merchant chest) made with attractive keyaki (elm) burl front panels in a reddish brown lacquer finish. The style of handles on each drawer is called "mokko" or "melon shape", accented with decorative iron hardware in each corner. The sliding doors in front lock in the center.
