A Longquan bird-feeder was in lovely size and was in shape of a lotus bud. In favorite lake-green tint, the vessel was revealed at the bottom with rough-feel body clay. It was preserved in very good condition with limited glaze frets happened during manufacturing or under incursions. A Jiangyang Temmoko bowl was decorated with radiating russet splashes on the surface. It was a rare type of this kind in Jiangyang wares. Enduring old crackles were yielded naturally in the glaze when retrospective sheen was reflected on the surface. It was used to be coated on the mouth rim with silver band. A Yaozhou incense burner or XinLu was intriguingly squeezed with five feet. In saucer form, the body was decorated with carved motifs on the surface of the rim. It was preserved in very good condition by nice glaze when sandy-tinted incursion were happened in portions. One broken foot was caused during burial. A nice restoration may do it's justice. But I would rather to leave it the buyer to decide. It was a sought-after piece for a Yaozhou ware even if ... Depicting a Tirthankara surrounded by consorts, elephants and figures in seated posture. The shrine is inlaid with copper and silver. A very dine piece from Gujarat. H. 15 cm (6 inch). Provenance: private collection Belgium.

$1,000.00 Chinese Junyao bowl from the Yuan Dynasty. From the collection of Irwin Hersey, renowned author on Asian and primitive art, and publisher of the Primitive Art Newsletter in the 1970s. Irwin Hersey was an advisor to museums and prominent collectors, and vetted pieces for many of the international tribal art fairs and Asian art fairs. He purchased this bowl from PB Auction in 1975. 4.5w x 1.75h inches, 11.5w x 4.5 cm.
Sandstone head of a goddess, from the famous erotic temples of Khajuraho, India. Chandella period (950-1050). The head is 32 cm (13 inch) high. Head plus stand 45 cm (18 inch). Museum quality piece. Provenance: private collection Belgium.
