This is a great Japanese cloisonne vase. It is not signed but it was created by one of the master artists from the Meiji Era. Years ago this vase was acquired from the Avo Krikorian Collection. It stands 6 1/4 inches tall. Condition is excellent.

Japanese Imari Porcelain Scalloped Rim dish, Ca. 1920, Meiji period, 5 1/4" diameter-top rim, 1 1/2" high, with typical Imari colors red, green clue and Gold highlighted floral design, unglazed half outer area inside bottom rim, left glazed center area in the bottom. The condition is good.

A Chinese gilt silver handled cup decorated with carved birds and vine motifs. Late Qing Dynasty. The cup is in excellent condition, please refer to photos for details. Height: 2-1/2"; diameter: 2-7/8".

A pair undone antique Chinese sleeve bands, bordered with a black band and green cotton lining. The wine-red silk ground finely embroidered in Pekinese stitch, some detalis in satin stitch and couched metal threads, showing figures, maybe immortals in a landscape. Dimension: c. 111 cm x 37.5 cm. Condition: fine, only few stains.

Antique Korean two section stacking personal chest with base. The front is made with hardwood burl (probably mulberry). Each section has a large compartment opened by two hinged doors. Silver colored hardware is made of chased brass.

A late Joseon dynasty mother of pearl inlaid black lacquer cosmetic and mirror box of drawers. Cranes and peaches decoration on the top. Butterflies, flowers and rockery decoration on the sides. This is beautiful Japanese antique Satsuma box with very fine detailing. The white enameling in the flowers and leaves with the gold detail s remind us of work seen on some Seikozan or Shizan pieces. A load of time consuming workmanship went into this piece. It is in outstanding condition with minor gold wear. The box measures 4 3/8 by 3 1/4 inches and is about 2 inches deep. A ceremonial presentation of Japanese yan one (arrow heads) to the Hachiman deity, performed by the Iwashimizu Hachimangu Temple.

A picturastic painting was done very well on wood in 19th century.
It was painted with mineral pigments and was kept nicely in aged mood.
No cracks or restorations were found.
It still needs a frame work to be as a hanging piece.

This is a very beautiful and stylish Japanese Cloisonne vase. It looks like it could have been made a piece made by Kawaguchi Bunzaeoman but it is signed with a tiny script by Ota. It was primarily created in the basse-taille style with traditional cloisonne then used with the flowers and leaves. The vase is heavy for its size and the enamel is thickly applied. This is an extremely rare cloisonne masterpiece. It was created by one of the great Meiji artists, Ogasawara Shuzo. It is also a very large piece for cloisonne, at 14 3/4 inches wide and 7 tall. It probably weighs over 10 lbs. The entire dragon is raised relief. This is an eye catching piece that truly belongs in a Museum. Condition is excellent.

Japanese Satsuma Earthenware Koro, Incense Burner, on Tripod feet and two(2) Elephant Handles, signed "Senzan", Ca. Meiji period 1910, 5" high include Foo Dog top, 6 1/4" wide include 2 handles, ladies and Gentlemen in Japanese traditional clothes within several circles between multiple bands of flowers, Gold Foo Lion knob and 3 heart shape openings on top. The condition is good except tiny frit inside the rim on the bottom piece.

A fine grayish nephrite carving depicting a crouching fairy deer accompanying with a boy. Late Qing Dynasty. The jade carving is in perfect condition with natural veins and light inclusions. Length: 3-3/8"
