A marvelous and very rare Daoguang mark and period blue and white porcelain stand, with a well-written four character kaishu mark to reverse. The tone of underglaze blue, glaze, porcelain paste, and calligraphy style is very typical for 1800-1850 mid Qing.

Made of gilt brass, 2 with gilt brass balls, the others with glass balls. One finial with chips to the glass, one finial lacks its attachment disk and one finial has been mounted on a brass foot. H. 5-6,5 cm. Ca. Late 19th century.

Lovely lacquerware inro, decorated with fish an seashells. With a coral ojime and a carved cinnabar lacquer netsuke. Meiji period (1868-1912). Signed at the bottom. Measurements: the inro 6x5,5 cm, the netsuke 3x2 cm.

Chinese Wood small square table with one(1) drawer has embossed floral design brass handle, 14 3/4" high, 12 1/4" square top, mid 1900's, with honey color brown finish. There are some separation in wood between dovetail joint, top has opening gap between molding and top surface area.

Pair Chinese Bamboo small Chairs, Ca. early 1900's, 30" high-back, 15 1/2" high-seat, 15 1/2" wide, 15 1/2" deep-from front to back side, with separation on bamboo with old repair used metal ring to hold bamboo together, and the back has some missing pieces of bamboo.

Japanese red lacquer on wood and brocaded Silk Obi Fabric top Folding Stand, 17 1/2" high, 18" wide, 14 1/2" deep-maximum(when opened), and 24" high, 14 1/2" deep(when closed), later part of Meiji period early 1900's, silk fabric has no open seam, all one(1) piece of silk Obi fabric, woven for this stand when it was made. The eight(8) metal caps have impressed design. There are some dull lacquer area from the usage but no damage.

Lovely black lacquer Japanese vase with 2 crickets. On the back side is a red dot (2 gold dots are on the front), a very interesting and subtle design element. Note in the photos, there is some minor chipping around base. Measures: 8.5" high, 4.25" across shoulder.

AA carved soapstone figure depicting a reclining Scholar; holding a fan in his right hand. This item was possibly made as an object for the Scholar's table and was made in China in the Qing dynasty, probably during the second half of the 19th Century (circa 1850-1900). A scholar taste Chinese Jade ink stone. The stone is a nephrite jade in the form of a flat craggily gonshi stone. The use of the stone, which has inclusions would be used to hold colored ink or water. The reverse side is to grind ink stick. Often scholar objects reflect details from nature and would incorporate them in their study.

A wonderful and detailed antique Chinese box with a detailed Jade carving with motifs of melons and the character of happiness set in the middle. Black and white pair of unusual statues of protecting deity and ancestor. They are made of wood and date from the 18th. century. West Nepal.

They both bare signs of great age and eroded wood.
