Original brocade border and printed cotton lining with hanging loops. Signed and sealed in the lower left corner. Condition: fine, scarce stained, partially faded, few traces of age. USD $425.00 A fine and rare MING DYNASTY JARLET with craquelé light brown glaze and splashes of blue and white glaze here and there. The base is also glazed except for the resting ring on the base. Found in the MUSI RIVER, close to Palembang City, which was the Capital of the SRIVIJAYA KNGDOM and which had a vast trade network with China and Siam. Condition overall good, one inconsequential chip on the lip of the top ring. Size:height 13 cm x 13 cm. diameter at the center. Rare Collector's item!

SOLD Japanese Kamakura Bori fish dish or tray. Finely hand carved in the shape of a red sea bream using the Kamakura lacquer technique, this dish was made for Fitz & Floyd in the 1970's. In excellent condition, it measures 15" long, 6" at widest point.
Japanese mid-century sosaku hanga woodblock print depicting a horse in a stable by Kiyoshi Saito (1907-1997). Signed in black ink at the lower left and with the artist's red seal above. Unlimited edition dating circa 1960. Paper size: 11 1/2" x 17 1/8" (image: 10 1/8" x just over 15"). The print was never framed and is in very good overall condition and color with full margins. There is some waviness to the paper and a couple of the margin corners have creases.

It must have been part of a very large censer or vase in certainly imperial cloisonné enamel that is somewhere.Certainly Kienlong period or earlier.
