A Chinese paired apron wraparound silk gored skirt, woven in tapestry (kesi, kossu, k'o-suu) technique with some silver wrapped threads and painted details, attached to an undyed cotton waistband and trimmed by a brocaded band. Japanese Kiri(Paulownia) wood two(2) section Tansu, chest on chest with all original finish and condition, Ca. late Meiji 1910, 40" high, 34" wide, 17" deep, bottom and upper section both 20" high each, three(3) drawers in upper section above two(2) deep graduated size drawers in bottom section. Black Iron original Handles and round back Lock Plates. The condition is original, some scratches, no hardware pieces are missing.

Antique Japanese iron tetsubin, or tea kettle, with a bell shaped body that flutes out towards the rounded base, a tall spout, archaic designs along the rim with a lid bearing the artist's signature. The handle is "mokko" shaped referring to the Japanese Quince fruit.

Small relief fragment in the shape of a head of Buddha, eyes closed, his slightly smiling face reflecting a profound inner serenity. Sandstone. Cambodia, Khmer Period, Bayon Style, 13th century. The piece is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Height (without stand): 12 cm. Erosion due to great age, trace of glue on the lower left side, otherwise very good condition.
