Antique Japanese bronze temple bell or bonsho, with a handle of dragon heads called a ryuzu, protrusions called chi chi or nyu to improve resonance of sound, the tsuki-za striking panels, and the mei-bun inscription of the bell's history. Inscription dates the bell to Meiwa 4, 1767, during the Edo period. Commissioned by Ninomiya Juemon, village head and rest of villagers. Good luck day of July.

An antique Japanese Kyoto Mizuya Tansu (kitchen chest) in 2 sections made of Keyaki (Zelkova), Hinoki (Cypress), Kaki (Persimmon) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods. All original bronze hardware with burled Keyaki door panels and drawer fronts. Unique and natural thunder bolt-like grain pattern on the Hinoki wood frame. Side horizontal supports add strength and aesthetic beauty to the tansu. Inverted trapezoid shaped runners at the base of each sliding door.

An antique Japanese Kasane Tansu (stacking chest on chest) made from Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware with full moon lock plates and curved Kakute handles. Side carrying handles features the rare locking pins used to connect the two sections together. Beautiful Japanese straight dovetail joinery is a testament to the expert craftsmanship used in making this chest.

An antique Japanese Bamboo Ikebana basket with a natural robust soot patinated rich chestnut color. It features a twisted Bamboo rope base with diagonal cladded interwoven slats. The gnarled Wisteria branch handle evokes the feeling of a scholarly ancient Pine tree that symbolizes longevity. Its ovoid shape has a wide open mouth. Antique Nepalese bronze melong, "Mirror of Emptiness". Melong are placed on altars to reflect right thoughts. This melong has a polished center surrounded by flames. It stands on a lotus base. It is the same on either side. A soft rattling sound from within the convex portion of the mirror reveals that it has been consecrated, meaning a prayer has been placed inside.

Antique Chinese seated Guanyin made of bronze and beautifully decorated with bright colored enamel. She hold a water jar in her right hand. In her crown sits a small image of Amitabha, her spiritual teacher. Her robes are decorated with raised auspicious objects and swirling clouds. Antique Chinese Dehua (blanc de Chine) porcelain figure of Guan Yin, the feminine Chinese translation of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara. Holding a scroll in her left hand and prayer beads in her right, she sits with one knee raised. Her robes drape elegantly over her head and body.
