An incredible work by Furutani Hirofumi enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Shigaraki Shizen-yu Hen Hanaire. Antique Indian Bindriware lidded container. Made of iron with fine gold inlaid designs of scrolling vines and flowers. A rounded body sits on a high foot with a round base. Two handles on either side continue the scrolling floral pattern. This type of metal work originates from the area of Bindar, India and has long been valued as a symbol of wealth.

A spacious storage area and shelf behind the sliding doors stored the merchant's books and business records.
